Super Sub Nunez Shines, Haaland Struggles.

Liverpool outshines Manchester City to lift the FA Community Shield at the king Power Staidium courtesy to goals from A.Arnold, M.Salah and Darwin Nunez.

A goal from Julian Alvarez was not enough to help the citizens match the reds dominance.

Alexander Arnold opening the scoring in the 21st minute with a superb effort outside the 18 yard box before substitute Julian Alvarez brought the game to level in the 70th minute. 

Liverpool took the lead once again from the penalty spot with Mohammed Salah converting it with a powerful shot to make it 2-1 after the ball struck the hands of the city captain Ruben Dias preventing a goal bound header from Darwin Nunez


The latter in the 90th minute headed home what seems to be the winning goal handing Liverpool the trophy to start their new season with a good momentum. 

City new signing and striker Erling Haaland struggled to make an impact to the game which might give the Spaniard some thinking to do about his frontline.
