Chelsea Christian Pulisic was denied a question on gun control in the USA — the country they are presently exploring.

He was asked for his views on what is a huge issue in the US before a club personnel walked in.

There have been a number of deadly mass shootings in America over recent months that have garnered lots of coverage in the media.

Pulisic was one of the members of US men's national team who formerly supported a letter calling on Congress to pass gun control legislation.

But, an attempt to execute the forward's opinion yesterday was stopped after he seemed to display a pained expression when asked.

In acknowledgment to the question, and following an exchange of peeks with Pulisic, a Chelsea minister said 'that isn't something for Christian to answer in this press conference'.

Meanwhile, Kalidou Koulibaly says that he joined Chelsea 'to play the greatest football in the world' and that former Napoli team-mate Jorginho initiated his move.

The Senegal defender has joined Chelsea on tour following a £34m move from Italy.

He said: 'I made a big choice to come to the Premier League and play the greatest football in the world.' Koulibaly added: 'Jorginho asked me if I wanted to come to Chelsea.

I said, 'I want to come but don't want to propose myself.' If they want to come I will and after that my choice was done.'
