Romelu Lukaku will be permitted to stay on loan for the second stint at Inter Milan if his stay at the club is a success.

Inter paid around £7million to take Lukaku on loan for the season, following a disappointed return to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have only announced a 12-month deal and head coach Thomas Tuchel has claimed the club must remain open to the fact that Lukaku could come back. 

Reports has it that there is already a broad request for Lukaku to stay at Inter for a second season under similar terms to those that were accepted this summer.

In 2021, Lukaku returned to Chelsea in a club-record transfer worth £97.5 million (€115 million).


The Belgian international made 26 appearance for the blues last time scoring 8 goals to his name.
