Free agent guard Austin Rivers has agreed on a one-year deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to report
Rivers is a favourite of Minnesota's new president of basketball operations Tim Connelly, who after signing him in consecutive seasons for the Nuggets has now landed him on a third consecutive deal with the Timberwolves. He played 67 games for Denver last season.
The 29-year-old arrives to help supplement the Timberwolves' depth after which saw some key stars, including veteran guard and locker room leader Patrick Beverley, depart the team.
Minnesota also signed forward Kyle Anderson on a two-year, $18 million deal in free agency.
